The 2019 Gala, which took place within the Accelerate Peace conference, celebrated the ways in which URI has been able to combine interfaith bridgebuilding with humanitarian action.
Two members of each winning Cooperation Circle traveled to Jordan to accept their prizes in an April 17 ceremony at Al Husseiniya Palace, which was attended by His Majesty King Abdullah.
URI had an impactful presence at the Fourth UN Environment Assembly held in Nairobi Kenya from March 11-15, 2019 under the theme of “Innovative solutions for environmental challenges and sustainable consumption and production”.
