URI Global Content Creators and Social Media Ambassador Program
Positions Available - Multiple
URI is looking to make the good news widely available on social media and to provide visibility to amazing initiatives being implemented by network members at the grassroots. Through the Global Content Creator & Social Media Ambassador Program, URI will establish a decentralized cadre of local communicators embedded in our regions, equipped to capture authentic stories and amplify them to the world.
The URI Regional Content Creator & Social Media Ambassador Program ("the Program") will engage talented communicators from URI's regions to serve as storytelling partners of the Global Support Office. Selected individuals will gather, produce, and share high-quality content that showcases the daily impact of URI Cooperation Circles (CCs), regional initiatives, and member activities, and URI’s purpose worldwide.
Target Audience:
- Primary: Young people aged 18 to 35. Those already active in interfaith work and those curious about it, whom URI aims to reach, inspire, and welcome into the movement. Content decisions about platforms, formats, and tone are made with this audience first.
- Secondary: Prospective and existing supporters and donors. Individuals, partners, and funders who want to see the tangible impact of URI's work on the ground, and whose confidence and generosity sustain it.
- Tertiary: The wider URI community and public. Existing members, Cooperation Circles, and the general public, who help amplify URI's stories and strengthen its global reputation and reach.
Location: Remote
No relocation or office attendance is required.

Community Liaison: West India (Independent Contractor)
Location: Remote (West India, preferably Mumbai)
Commitment: Part-time (approximately 10 hours per week)

Key responsibilities include:
- Expanding URI's network by supporting new and existing Cooperation Circles.
- Developing partnerships with educational institutions, community organizations, and local leaders.
- Coordinating knowledge-sharing and supporting regional learning initiatives.
- Identifying grant and funding opportunities aligned with URI's mission.
- Representing URI at meetings, events, and collaborative initiatives while documenting impact and regional activities.

About URI
The United Religions Initiative (URI) is the largest grassroots interfaith network, with members and activities in more than 110 countries. URI was founded in the year 2000 as a non-profit organization.
The Purpose of URI is threefold: to promote enduring, daily interfaith cooperation, to end religiously motivated violence, and to create cultures of peace, justice and healing for the Earth and all living beings. URI connects grassroots groups and individuals working in support of its Purpose across the globe into a vibrant network.
Group members of the network are called Cooperation Circles (CCs). There are currently over 1,190 CCs in 113 countries. These Cooperation Circles address local issues that impact their communities through community projects focused on URI's purpose.
The URI global support office and 20 regional offices on six continents support its decentralized global network of grassroots groups – providing them with training, mentoring, coaching, communications systems, and connection to a global network.
