URI Pakistan and Peace Center in Lahore celebrated the International Day of Peace with an impressive crowd of more than 150 Christian, Muslim, Hindu, and Sikh religious leaders, human rights activists, promoters on interfaith harmony, scholars, professors, and students from various universities and colleges.

URI Sri Lanka held its 4th National Assembly from 5th to 8th October, 2017, under the theme “Together for Peace Respect, Safety, and Dignity for All.”

United Religions Initiative East India conducted a women’s soccer tournament to promote gender equality.

Joy Foundation organized a training program to teach youth about peacebuilding.

On 14^th of October Ektaan gave a live music performance to celebrate an evening with Ghanty family of Asansol on the occasion of 74^th year of “Laxmi Puja” (Goddess of Wealth) at Laxmi Temple. The temple was established by Late Sri Satya Kinkar Ghanty.
